  • The Company Logo

The Company logo of the Celtic Knot displays four interlocking knots which represents the four seasons and how they are all interconnecting but also ever repeating. We can apply this wisdom to our lives, in how the seasons change but also how they rejuvenate again.

    Environmental Policy

We at Cornwall Destination Management Company are committed to continuous improvement in their environmental policy. Staff have attended seminars about Sustainable Tourism to encourage them to think in a broader environmental way.

    As a Company we :

  • Recycle, reuse and reduce our office and home waste
  • Replace light bulbs to energy efficient (80% complete)
  • Switch off lights when not needed
  • Switch off, not Standby on Electrical Appliances
  • Have installed a water butt to collect rain water
  • Think before we print
  • Our document paper is recycled as is the paper in our folders
  • Recycle our printer cartridges
  • Change our cleaning products to environmentally friendly products
  • Lift share
  • Work with like minded businesses
  • We are currently in the process of exchanging, where possible, cleaning products and toiletries to environmentally friendly substitutes
  • CoaST

Cornwall DMC is a member of CoaST.

The CoaST project core belief is that sustainable tourism is not just about the Cornish economy or the Cornish environment or even just about Cornish people; its about all three in combination. The Triple Bottom Line.
