Terms & Conditions

You, known as The Client and Cornwall Destination Management Company, known as The Company

1. Payments and Deposits

1.1
Payment terms will be notified at time of reservation or booking

You as the Client must ensure that all personal details you provide are up to date and correct. Payments can be made by bank transfer or personal cheque. For international payments Cornwall DMC will provide BIC and SWIFT codes. Payments are to be made in Pounds Sterling

Some of our suppliers request deposits upon reservation of goods, or services or to reserve a venue. We will inform you at the time of booking if a deposit is required. When a deposit is held against completion, the deposit will be deducted from the final payment. If a deposit is held to secure specific services, goods ordered or to reserve a venue for the Client who subsequently cancels the order or event then the deposit will be forfeit.

2.Cancellation

By individual arrangement with the Client.

In the event of cancellation by Cornwall DMC – a full refund of all payments will be made to the client. The maximum limit of liability by Cornwall DMC will be the sums paid to the company by the Client. The company will not be responsible for any consequential losses suffered by the client as a result of the cancellation.

3. Liability

3.1
The Company warrants that it will act reasonably in its endeavours to secure the Services and goods on your behalf and will as far as possible act in a reasonable fashion. The utmost due care and attention will be paid as to the choice of suppliers, goods and services. We cannot however assume the responsibility of the informed judgement of the Client who is ultimately responsible for their own actions and decisions regarding suppliers and goods.

3.2
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is said to give any Client any right or remedy under the Contracts(Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Your contract is with the suppliers of services and goods. We will how endeavour to remedy any issues the Client may have with a supplier.

3.3
Save for the result of Death or Personal Injury by the direct negligence of The Company not set out in these Terms & Conditions, The Company shall not be liable for any loss, expenses, damages, costs or claims of compensation by the resulting provision of third party services instructed by you, to you.

From time-to-time it will be necessary to amend these Terms & Conditions. We, The Company will provide notification via the website, email or posting and personally to the Client where appropriate.

Privacy Policy

It will be necessary on placing an order to provide us with some personal information such as name, home/contact address, email address, etc. All personal information will be stored in a safe manner and will not be accessible by anyone other than the Company and its employees. We will only pass on your information to third party suppliers when it is necessary to fulfil deliver of goods or services. Under no circumstances will your information be passed to, sold or otherwise divulged to anyone. Our complete discretion is assured.
